Digital Suspension Device We're using semantic obfuscation to crowd this plastic finger hook into a scientific category. It really doesn't cut it as science, but sure has been a popular novelty in our stores. An embedded 1/2" long wood screw will secure this flesh-colored finger to a rail, the side of a desk, a wall, or the back of a door. It then functions as an amusing hook for towels, robes, coats, tools, or attention. In fact the silly things seem to be beckoning, but we were afraid to call them "come hither hookers" for fear of misinterpretation. When installed, the fingernail, which might look a bit better with a little bright red polish, stands 2" from the mounting surface. Sold in fours because this importer doesn't deal in thumbs.

Great conversation piece. I bring my finger hooks to the local tiki bar where they used to have "regular" hooks for our pocketbooks. Since I have quite a few, I let my girlfriends use them too. Then, in case I have a little too much to drink and forget one, everyone at the bar knows they belong to me! I've painted the fingernails in different colors and everyone loves them!

I had these as a coat rack when I was a child and was so happy to still find them. They add an interesting fun to any house. Why not giggle every time you walk in the door? They work well and are very versatile.

The product was just as described. I thought it was a little pricey but they are cute and serve the purpose intended

These look close enough to real fingers to be fun, but not close enough to make anyone pass out.

My husband loves these! I got them for him for Christmas... I just hope that he does not use them in the house! haha.

About a decade ago I was doing some carpentry, making a platform to put my deceased lemur, Phil, on. Phil was my best friend, but he choked on his tail and died, so I had him stuffed. As I was making this platform, I was using a buzz saw to cut the wood. My wife Helga cam into the shed and said she made fried chipmunk liver (my favorite); I got distracted and sliced my right hand straight off. Ever since then, I have been sporting a wooden hand. It's not bad, except when I shake people's hand, it sometimes gets pulled off (that scares some people). Anyways, last week, my friend and I were back on the grind (the carpentry grind, that is). We were working on another project that required the buzz saw. Since my accident, I had still been doing buzz saw work and wasn't too worried about it. While my friend was manning the saw, I was feeding the wood into it; and of course, I was using my wood hand to feed. I slipped up and cut the [wood] pointer, middle, ring, and pinky finger straight off. So, now I had a wood hand with only a wood thumb. After I told my wife, she went straight to the bedroom and pulled out the Finger Hooks (she had bought them a wedding gift for her friend). I made holes on the tip of the hand where my digits would go, and screwed the Fingers in. I still have trouble getting them exactly screwed in right; sometimes my middle finger will be upside down, while my pinky is sideways and the other two are correct. People give me weird looks because of my crooked fingers. However, they work for me, and [when screwed in, facing the right way] they are always in a cupping position. I, also, had to spray paint them black, to match my skin color. Sometimes the colors will fade, and I'm stuck with faded fingers on a black hand. I will continue doing carpentry, but more cautiously.

I have been looking for hooks to put on bar wall under my bar for the girls to hang their purses for a while, but I couldn't find anything that suited my needs. I was hoping to find some skeleton or creature fingers to go with the theme of my monster bar, but these were the closest thing I could find. I'm very happy with the quality and the fingers are quite strong and can hold some weight. They look cool too! Drill a pilot hole and screw them in - DONE! Note: if you start screwing the fingers in around 8 o'clock they will be tight when at the proper angle.
